Under the Acelepryn label, you can apply at a rate of 0.6 l/Ha across 10% of your managed amenity turf. We’d consider priority must be given to high-risk areas, such as greens, where damage has the greatest impact on playability. Consideration should also be given to how much of the surrounding area is treated for leatherjackets.
Remember that leatherjackets are soil pests that can migrate slowly over the winter period. They are very capable of moving several meters a night when they become mature, and the occasional milder nights during January to April allow them to do so. Therefore, applications to greens surrounds and adjacent areas can help mitigate the risk posed by leatherjacket movement.
