The first two Turf Science Lite events have been a great experience. I really enjoyed some great insights into the research being undertaken by ICL's Henry Bechelet and Dr Andy Owen as well as my first public appearance in a syngenta shirt. The facilities at the JCB venue were fantastic and my first presentation on Ryder syngenta's new Pigment was a baptism of fire in a huge auditorium with Dolby Surround Sound. Old Thorns (pictured below) provided a great venue to see the ryder stressbuster mix at its best. The work we're beginning to do on light and how turfgrass reacts gained quite a bit of interest particularly the role Ryder may play in the future. I'm looking forward to presenting next week at St Andrews and Rudding Park. [caption id="attachment_974" align="aligncenter" width="277"] Measuring light in micromoles[/caption]
