If you win the weekend break for two it may help appease a jilted partner, if you can normally be found adjusting and calibrating the sprayer late into the evening.

ASOOTY is the Amenity Sprayer Operator of the year award. Its open to anyone who professionally sprays grass.
That doesn’t mean you have to only spray (all day every day), for most golf courses and sports pitches spraying will only be a component of the work that goes on. But it would be great to see more entries from greenskeepers and grounds staff alike.
So if you are the ‘go to sprayer’ at your facility, or you know who is and think they’re doing a great job, then why not get an application in?
