Next week I'm heading out to Le Golf National near Paris, to look at some of the work we have been doing with Alejandro Reyes and the team out there, as they get ready to host The Ryder Cup. It's beginning to get exciting and I'm looking forward to being part of the team.
Now there is news of a website dedicated to following the turf team at Le Golf National, as they build up for, first, The French Open and then, just three months later, the Big One - when the eyes of the golfing world will be watching every bit of the course design and management.
The team will grow to over 180 greenkeepers for September’s prestigious event – with so much for all turf managers to learn from Alejandro and everyone working at Le Golf National.
Alejandro is an inspirational guy and so open to sharing his ideas and experiences. He's passionate about The Ryder Cup being a success for Europe and using the opportunity to demonstrate the skills of the greenkeeping industry to the wider world.
