Cranefly Hatch – September 2019

The Syngenta Pest Tracker shows the 2019 cranefly hatch, as it happens.

9th September to 30th September Cranefly hatch

The last 3 weeks have proved to be the main time frame for Cranefly hatch. PestTracker has its limitations but it’s done a pretty good job of logging the the timings.

The hatch window has been fairly tight but clearly seems to have started earlier in the Manchester and South Wales areas with London / South East coming later.

I’m intrigued now to see how long the hatch window continues for.

Thanks for your input and keep logging sightings in PestTracker
