It was great to spend a couple of days on a golf course (although my rose tinted spectacles were shattered when the Hayfever kicked in) and see all the great work going on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing all the activity, I had to remind myself that whilst this subject is very important to us and at the top of our priority list, it’s nowhere near the top of your “things to do” list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So forgive me for “going on about it” (a familiar quote from my 10 year old) but it is important to get the very best out of the products you’re using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowing that chafer sightings have dried up on the Syngenta PestTracker<\/a> and many of you are going through the process of applying Acelepryn<\/a> at the moment because of historic damage, I thought it’s worth going over a few of the basics to ensure you get the best out of this product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I was to pick out the key pieces of advice here – It’s very simple. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use 08 nozzles, high water volume and water in. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chafers lay their eggs deep and you need to make sure you get the product in contact with the young larvae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
